Pastel 75cm x 55cm approx.
This is a commissioned work depicting the river at Murchison, Victoria. The subject had taken her horse into the water on a very hot day for a cool off. I worked from photos that are provided and using artistic licence, I thinned the trees out considerably, added more colour to the bank and brought the horse and figure forward.
