Description
I did this drawing circa 1984! It is exactly the way I remember my grandfather. He always wore his cap at this jaunty angle! He was very disappointed that his son (my father) and my mother produced a girl and he used to call me Jack! I produced the drawing from a faded old photograph, and it was used as an illustration in a book written about the village in England where I was born.

Fantastic image Lynda,..your Granddad looks like he may have been a handful and quite a character for sure. Handsome and filled with life - a beautiful rendering my friend - all the best to you! .......Joe

Hello Joe! Thanks so much for the great comment on my grandfather! He had a twinkle in his eye and he used to call me 'Jack' because he was expecting me to be a boy! :)

This is amazing, such detail. What a wonderful tribute, almost feels like you know who he is. Great job. Fv
